Today on the blog is a rare flower favorite. Rare because it is only available for a smidgen of time in the Spring. And today’s feature flowers is…Bleeding hearts!! You will find them blooming in landscapes and wooded areas in the spring-time. As a child I absolutely LOVED this plant. It was one of my favorite flowers with it’s delicate heart shaped petals. Since it’s availability is very spotty, when I saw them at the flower market I knew I had to scoop some up and create an impromptu bouquet with them. I hope you enjoy it & Happy Friday!
A quick photo from this past weekend’s barn wedding. We loved creating this lush & textural bridal bouquet which was chock full of the most gorgeous spring flowers including peonies, ranunculus, garden roses, sweet-smelling jasmine vine, tweedia, and more…. Enjoy!

Another favorite was Sarah’s bouquet. It was, without a doubt, one of my all time favorites. Made of garden roses, ranunculus, stunning cafe au lait dahlias along with deep burgundy astrantia, snowberries and touches of jasmine vine and clematis vine, this bouquet perfectly captured the organic and rustic feel that Sarah was after as well as every last ounce of beauty that fall has to offer.
Working with Sarah & Nick was a dream as they trusted my creativity completely and let me incorporate so many fun and unique textures into their wedding flowers. Congratulations you two and thanks for being so receptive … Read More »
