Jessie & Chris were married at the Garfield Park Conservatory this past Fall in October. The Garfield Park Conservatory, which sits on the outskirts of the city on the west side, is a historic gem! The Architecture of the building itself is stunning, and when you combine that with its super lush and exotic array of plants, it is hard to beat as far as wedding venues go.
Of all of the weddings that we produced this past year, this was quite possibly the one that I was looking forward to the most. My husband told me afterwards that if we had been married in the fall, this is what he would have wanted our wedding to look like: The ultimate compliment!

In February we had the honor of participating in Bridal Fete Chicago’s bouquet bar. Their famed bouquet bar displayed bouquets from a dozen or so of some talented florists in Chicago. The event was held at Roosevelt University in the Loop, which is SUCH a gorgeous place for a special event! For our bouquet we opted for a vibrant palette of luscious pink peonies, always amazing Cafe Au Lait Dahlias, pale pink Ranunculus, a touch of checkered Fritillaria and acacia foliage. We finished off the look with delicate white & pink bi-color Clematis. I didn’t order them specifically for this bouquet but my salesperson, Laura, pulled them out for me since she knows how much I love Clematis and I just couldn’t resist them! I think they added the perfect finishing touch to the bouquet.
Enjoy the lovely images below from Carasco Photo of the event and the bouquet we made.
