We get to take a virtual walk through some of our favorite Chicago wedding venues in an effort to help engaged couples chose the best space for their wedding! Each week we spotlight one of our favorite venues about share a little bit about what makes the venue so great. Today we cast the spotlight on 19 East. The space has so many unique features include the marble tiled bar, the black-and-white tiled floors in front of the bar, the beautiful herringbone parquet floors throughout, and the super high ceilings and large windows all which attribute to the beautiful aesthetic of 19 East. Today we are chatting about some of the most spectacular wedding venues/event spaces that Chicago has to offer. There are wide variety of venues to choose from in this wonderful city and we wanted to highlight some of our favorites.
1. Cafe Brauer
I may be a little biased, since my husband and I got married here, and thus it will always hold a special place in my heart. But going beyond my bias, with the gorgeous prairie style architecture and the spectacular views of Lincoln Park and the city skyline as seen from the loggias, what’s not to love? It’s a beautiful oasis for a Chicago wedding set in the middle of Lincoln Park just adjacent to the Lincoln Park Zoo. Perfect for those couples wanting a downtown Chicago wedding with the feel of the outdoors & nature as well. From an architectural standpoint, the sea-foam green steel work seen out front as well as within the ceiling of the ballroom is absolutely beautiful.
